SE Asia 2020 – Day 06 – Pamper Day

Breakfasts

I woke up early today once again to get pre-breakfast. I’m not even effing with you, because not even a couple hours after this we went for dim sum. I had a last minute appointment so I only dropped by at the restaurant. So I guess it worked out to eat earlier! We went for some chicken noodle soup for our pre-breakfast, eating on tables set up on the street. This is probably the best chicken noodle soup I’ve ever had. The chicken was so juicy and the skin so smooth, mm.

We also picked up some ham chim peng, basically a Chinese doughnut, I love this stuff ever since I was a kid! It smelled so good and tasted even better! We got it off of this old gentleman who rides around on his bike, selling them fresh ~

Me Day

I made a last minute appointment for my nails, I’m in Vietnam, I have to! I went to Prive Nails. I picked a place with decent reviews, aesthetics, design skills, and caters to mostly foreigners. They also take their cleanliness really seriously, especially since this was during a little before the pandemic blew up.

If I had a choice, I would make the colour palette of this place more on the darker scale then it would completely be my place to be! But the pink is cute I guess, for their audience ~ You get a complimentary beverage of your choice and a cute dish for your jewelry.

I almost fell asleep and kept nodding off because the pillows were so comfy. This was the design I got and I was super in love with it! The dark gray colour too!! This lasted me for over 5 weeks~!

Hue Noodle

After my little nail date, my family picked me up and we went for some Bun Bo Hue. To be honest with you, I wasn’t very satisfied with this. Next time I come back I will go on a hunt for my beloved Bun Bo Hue!!

Massage

After that, I over heard some of my family wanted to go for a massage…so obviously I jumped in on that too. It was amazing! Literally a full body and foot massage, she even cracked my back, and it was just about $20CAD?! Too bad this was my second last day in Vietnam or I’ll be going every day that I’m there!

Dessert Fix

Way later in the evening we went for some cheong fun. This is a really popular place so it was full when we got there, but we were lucky enough to get a seat inside. I’m craving for some right now! I also got two desserts for myself…black sesame soup, and almond jellies! Yum yum!
