Hanmoto: Hole In The Wall Izakaya

This was a adventurous spot for me. I was at the One OK Rock Concert in Toronto and happened to meet someone pretty cool. When the concert was over, and we were there lining up for some merchandise, we decided we should go get some food before heading home. It was probably 11pm, where could we go? Izakaya obviously! I had Hanmoto on my list to cross off and I’m glad I got to enjoy it with new company!

I love love love hole in the walls, small, cozy, and energetic vibes. The lighting in there resulted in some not very detailed photos but that’s okay! You’ll still get the idea that it was worth the trip!

Dyno Wings, pork dumpling stuffed into a chicken wing. One of their must haves ~

Hamachi Tartare, I believe there were also avocados in this -heart eyes-

Moto Eggs, deviled egg with chicken skin. This was so good!

Salmon Aburi, torched pieces of salmon on a bed of sushi rice.

Honestly, I can’t remember or tell what this was, but I think it’s something along the lines of … beef tataki. Haha. Should of taken more notes by then.

Would I go back? 100%! For one I need better photos, more drinks and some moto eggs!
